From the early days, Mr. Kakuma - Director of Full Balance soon realized that Shopify would become a platform having the greatest potential and accounting for a significant market share in the Japanese e-commerce industry. He wondered how Full Balance's customers and Shopify would develop and what he wanted to achieve during the 'golden period' of this e-commerce platform in Japan. Therefore, Full Balance's move from developing the entire system to focusing on Shopify is not a short-term decision to follow trends but a long-term strategy and vision to create trends.

Not only seeing the market potential, Full Balance's Director also realizes the advantages of creating EC on Shopify. In his opinion, whether from a developer or a proponent standpoint, it will be more beneficial for customers who operate EC sites to sell products on Shopify than to create and propose a completely new e-commerce site themselves.

Understand technology to create services that bring direct revenue to retailers

According to Mr. Kakuma, up to now, most e-commerce sites have been developed from scratch or based on open source systems. Therefore, when entering the Japanese market, Shopify has shown its advantage by providing a ready-made system platform and solution packages for business owners to easily use immediately, even if they are not technical experts.

Accordingly, instead of focusing on building an EC system from scratch, Full Balance has been pouring resources into technology solutions that make differences. Full Balance does not simply help customers create an online store on Shopify and upload products to the website. The company has integrated technology solutions (such as modules, proprietary applications,...) from previous software products or ones created by the cooperation with its partner in order to 'tailor' and bring difference for each of its customer's e-commerce activities. When asked about future goals, Mr. Kakuma shared that Full Balance wants to expand the scale of Shopify projects to meet the needs of many customers. In order to promote the development of customers' EC sites, he believes that developing the company's capabilities as well as having strong technical technology partners are extremely necessary. After successful cooperation with Rabiloo in recent projects, Full Balance expects more specific solutions related to AI as well as component development from Rabiloo, thereby easily combining with Full Balance solutions and utilizing them in developing systems.
